Begining a week from Friday, DJ Paul Zimmerman will be spinning at 9th & Main Friday nights. Paul's best known for his rotations at TSI (Get Smart, Wednesdays), Eclipse (POP! Thursdays), and briefly Saturday nights at Nosh earlier this year.
Of course, knowing that place is more unpredicatble than Coutrney Love off her meds, I contacted the source for clarification:
J: Dude, you're going to be back at 9th & Main? I thought 9th&Main/Nosh was all "whatever" and then you were all, "yeah, whatever!" And that was the end of that.
P: Well, we are running the show now! We understand ourselves, they didn't understand what we were about. Hahaha.
DJ PZ has a reputation for loving the crowd the way the crowd loves him. DFA1979? No prob. Abba? Absolutely. That's the way he rocks it.
