I've been told for years how good Boomtown is. YEARS.
I think it's my Orlando upbringing that produced my natural aversion to "Dinner Theater" and "Supper Clubs." I've learned through many trial-and-error that the concept of "Dinner Theater" is generally code for "Bad acting and mediocre food. Audience participation (read: humiliation) encouraged."
Imagine my surprise. I was so wrong. It was so good.
