Now through Wednesday (10.11.06) Florida is hosting a sales-tax holiday on "green" (energy-efficient) appliances. Woot! Items applicable for the tax holiday include Energy Star Certified:
Clothes washers
Dishwashers
A/C Units and Ceiling Fans
Compact Fluorescent (CFL) light bulbs
Dehumidifiers
Programmable thermostats
Refrigerators
